These are some examples of the most commonly used indications for dental implants:

1. Single tooth replacement. In case one tooth is missing, a single crown and abutment can be fitted on a dental implant.
2. Multiple tooth replacement. In case more teeth are missing next to each other, a bridge placed on implants can be an alternative to a conventional tooth supported bridge or a removable denture.
